It really is, for companies like GM to stop what they are doing to use there assembly lines to make ventilators for hospitals and for breweries to make hand sanitizer instead of beer. It's awesome to see our country to come together.

overwhelming majority of Americans are trying to follow medical experts' guidelines.

What few times I've had to venture on our roads, I've seen a huge decrease in the number of cars in the Columbia metro area along with people being pickier about shopping, venturing into stores, etc.

And there are consistent reports of folks of all ages reaching out to help others - that good, ole American spirit of sympathy and help for those less fortunate or in need.

Many people with whom I have communicated by phone or in social media are learning to enjoy simpler things right now, and the stay-at-homers are tackling projects at home they have put off for some time.

It's not all sunshine and roses for a lot of folks, for many are fearful of the illness, as well as for their incomes and work. But the worst action is to give in to fear, which usually leads to panic and poor decisions.

You are right 99. The USA is very difficult to beat at anything if we band together but is becoming increasingly more difficult.

1) families who are always in a flurry of activities are having to learn to reconnect again.

2) we will find ways to get things done through technology that will carry over into future workflows.

I've learned the innate nature of mankind is compassion. We see it everyday. Unfortunately, our politicians have put party above our nation's best interests. Many of our problems and attitudes can be laid at their feet and we expect them to solve problems created by the same people.
