I’m gonna say 14 even though I know we just came back from being down 16. Either way I think we win 35-34

Getting behind those guys by 14 would worry me. They can score a bunch - it would be hard to catch up.

They're only a better passing offense than OSU , their running game isn't quite that good to be honest .
If our front 3 ... and sometimes 4 or 5  can get pressure on Burrow and keep him contained from running wild like they did Fields we will be fine .
That's the catch though , he really has had a fantastic year .

anything under 16 would require 2 defensive stops to mathematically tie things up.
14-0 in 1st quarter is a lot different than 45-31 with 5 minutes to go.

We need to stay right with them. In the 2012 Peach we almost got behind too much and even then had to pull it out on the last play. We are deeper and better than we were then. If we do the typical rotation, I expect that LSU will be huffing and puffing in the 4th quarter same as last time. We can expect the same "leg cramps" and outright flops when the see they can't keep up. One of the saner LSU posters actually admitted on this board that of course they do not substitute much becasue they can't against their "superior" competition or some such nonsense. So if we rotate on the regular schedule run their defense for a ton of plays, we'll be fresher and start seeing openings that may not be there in the first half. Same as the Bucks. So we can come back if we need to. But if we get down three scores that may be too much. Even if we get the upper hand in the second half, we can expect they are going to be scoring some too. They have all year. If we are good enough and lucky enough to get the upper hand early, we need to put the pedal to the metal.

Any amount over 7 would worry me. Until I see how our defense handles LSU, I will be worried if we're behind.

I was worried almost the whole Ohio State game lol. We got punched hard off the bat and they are a good team. But to see us come back - i got my memory back of what this team is made of.
So I say there is always a little worry when you are down, but seriously worried - depends on the quarter. First half 14 down I can live with, second half that 14 points starts looking more and more menacing as the clock ticks.

We must have a strong start. This team will be more difficult to come back from.
Main thing is we can't have any busted plays on defense.

I think if we are down 3 TDs at the end of the 3rd quarter I would have some unsettled feelings .
