This won’t be popular, but as a state employee, are you allowed to proselytize?
Imagine a world religions professor teaching a course on the multitude of religions and then at the end of class saying which one is the true religion and inviting everyone to pray with him?

Israel is not a terrorist state, but Benjamin Netanyahu is a crook and he used unconventional war tactics to distract from his pending charges of corruption. If the terrorist attack on Israel had not occurred Netanyahu would be in a court room right now facing corruption and conspiracy charges. Some conspiracy theorist, which I am not say that the intelligence was there weeks before the attack on the music festival and BN allowed it to happen. Who knows!

where the Head Coach is teaching Islam and having his players read the Koran before games? Christianity certainly has been infused with football langer than I am years old, but it, despite what may want to believe, is not American official religion and if shoe were on the other foot, one should be as tolerant as those who do not care or make an issue of prayer in the locker room. My opinion is these kids are old enough to make their own decisions and understand their own faith, and any religeous service offered by the coach or program would be optional, otherwise, the player can go elsewhere.
But then again, the First Amendment is pretty clear, why should the taxes of say a Jewish family, be used to pay for the salary of a government employee who uses his influence and reach to teach a different religion?
Personally, I do not care, but some of you need to ask yourselves this question.

Not really they can choose to be apart or not just like those that play for Dabo know, along with their parents.
Dabo loves Jesus and will teach Biblical faith in everything he does while respecting others beliefs.
Just like that dollar bill in your wallet that says in God we Trust. You can spend a million of them and believe or not.
When something goes wrong people want prayer but when they live as they will they put God on the shelf until trouble comes.

those who dont like this are free to have their view and not participate. to me they are not free to foist said view on others who are willingly participating. see this is what gets me about today groups who feel because they dont like something they should be able to deprive everyone of it. And let me add I am no Deion fan. And he will probably soon be the Dallas coach anyway

protection the freedom of religion.
The 14th Amendment also protects freedom of religion by preventing states from passing laws that restrict religious practices.
As usual, this FFRF group it totally and completely our of bounds. It's also no coincidence, that it's only Christians they seem to target.

Interesting that this group doesn’t want Deion to discuss God. But this same group would love for Deion to teach these young men that they can grow up to become women if they choose. The media and Dems would be 100% behind Deion in the second case.
