Travis Etienne Video - Who Dat Jennings High No. 8?

Takeaways from watching T.E. highlights on You Tube - The young man is shifty, breakaway speed - never caught from behind, appears to line up as the full back in some sets, tough, runs inside & outside and not afraid to use stiff arm. Appears to catch with soft hands away from his body on the few catches recorded. From the size of the football fields, stands and crowds, it appears Jennings High is a smaller public school and the level of competition is an unknown for me.

A ridiculous 2500 hundred yards rushing in both his junior and senior years. A healthy 5'11 215 lbs. Hometown Jennings High and Jennings, La is near Lake Charles and Port Arthur between New Orleans and Houston, TX in southern Louisiana. Looks like a small school RB who is a diamond in the rough with unknown and unlimited potential.

Do we have any Louisiana natives with more insights on T. Etienne and his level of competition (A? AA? AAA?) My guess is there may not be much media around Jennings, La. Thanks in advance for any available insights from Clemson recruiting experts or local La. Clemson Tigers if there are any ...

Thrilled to have the young man at Clemson. If he works hard and fulfills his potential on and off the field, Tiger fans have lots to look forward to IMHO. Go Etienne! Go Tigers!

Strong runner , deceptive speed with good power and balance . He reminds me of the film of Tyshon Dye as a HS prospect .

And even so he's still a top 150 guy. Just remember he was Bama's guy that they were going to go after if they didn't land #1 overall Harris. Bama tipped the Clemson staff to him apparently to keep him out of their division at LSU.
