Danish soccer player Christian Eriksen collapsed on the field

about 20 min ago. Medical staff could be seen giving him CPR and he was eventually taken off on a stretcher.

The whole scene was the most disturbing thing I've ever seen during live sports.

Praying he will be OK.

That really sounds scary. I hope they had a physician on site as well as the appropriate medical equipment.

The most unsettling scene I've ever witnessed in sport. When they used the paddles on him, that was stunning. To see the photo of him conscious when wheeled from the pitch, simply amazes one at what medical personnel can accomplish in an emergency. At the time, it wasn't promising to believe he would survive.
