Defensive Lineman (class 2014)

Feb 11, 2013, 7:33 PM

Here is a kid I coach and Clemson football will not look at him, but NC State, UNC, Ohio State, and Virginia Tech will!

Tell me what you think of him.

He's 6'4, 312 and has pretty decent numbers and production.

What gives? Does he play 1A or something?

There is a whole year left

in recruiting, just because Clemson hasn't offered the guy doesn't mean they won't. They may have players they like better and going after them first. I'll trust the coaching staff as they have proved they know what they're doing.

Stop being a bagman, let the kid work it out.

Nothing gives. We play 4 A football against teams that clemson comes to town and recruits. Dwayne Allen, Eric McClain... same region and conference.

You tell me what gives. He has good grades and is a good kid.

Mav, I noticed that he plays at Pine Forest High School. Where is that school located. Pensacola Florida has a PFHS and was wondering if that was the same school. If it is Go Eagles.

It could just be about the numbers. Not a lot of numbers for this years class. RIGHT NOW we are only looking at taking 12-14. I think by the end of the year, it will be more around 16-19.

No we are located in Fayetteville, NC. I am taking down to Clemson campus at the end of March. I am not saying that Clemson should offer him, but they haven't responded to anything that I have sent them about him.

Send film to the recruiter of your area, which I believe is Dan Brooks.
