Just overheard a stat that there has only been like 3 offensive holding calls on teams going against our DLine all season. While I’m not sure if that stat is true, do we with think the hype surrounding the DLine entering the season, that referees are giving opposing OLines a break going against us. I know we all remember back against Texas A&M how none were called ever, even though it happened every dropback. Thoughts?
No doubt that there was excessive holding in the Texas A&M game. It seems that referees have decided to allow holding as long as the arms are not extended. I don't like this as it penalizes a stronger team like Clemson. We just need to let Thomas blow by them on the edge. They can't catch him!
