Defending Clemson

So when I hear whining from Gamecocks about Clemson cheating for recruits, they reference the same stuff all the time (Lake houses, people getting jobs, Mike Bellamy flashing cash that one time).
I was wondering if anybody would be honest and mention some of the things that might appear on the shady side to outsiders. I'm sure all the myths of cheating have been twisted and exaggerated, but I would love to know what they are talking about so I can set these people straight.

Look into the cheating at other schools and go on the offensive. Please report back to us on the extent of cheating by theses other schools. TIA

Sorry to bust your search for dirt that doesn't exist. You can defend Clemson by mentioning we are not or have not been under investigation by the NCAA in a long time.

Ask for an example.
I graduated in 1996 and can't recall a single NCAA recruiting violation as it relates to cheating. Clemson has been one of the most squeaky-clean programs in the entire nation since the Ken Hatfield days.
The Chickens a.k.a. on the other hand have been cited multiple times since then. That's a fact.
It sounds to me like your dealing with typical Gamecock sour-grapes as it relates to Clemson. They're always looking for ways to rationalize their irrelevance and inferiority to Clemson.

Is that what you think? Tick-tack penalties that 100% of schools are in violation of sway recruiting? Get real.
The kind of cheating that is deliberate (Ole Miss, UNC, USuCk, etc...) and NCAA takes notice simply hasn't happened at Clemson since before I graduated. It does happen at places like UNC, and across the SEC, a lot
He wasn't asking about the free cupcakes the Citadel gives to Football recruits. He was referring to Major violations like free cars, cash, jobs for parents, free lodging at The Whitney, obstructing criminal investigations, etc....
Clemson isn't guilty of any of that. If they are, I'd like see an example of it.

Then don't compare Clemson to schools in the SEC, UNC, etc...when it comes to investigations.
Everybody understands the difference between a free cupcake and free cars, etc.... Clemson is squeaky clean.

Your first mistake is listening to Coots. No matter if the Lord God Almighty wore a Tiger uniform and slid down the Hill at halftime. Coots are still going to accuse us of stuff.
