Default Board - Why?!

Can the powers in charge make TNet NOT have a default to the football board? Why not make it selectable without a default?
Or do away with boards and just have one massive board. That is basically what we have now with most posts on the football board.

with only topic showing but no access without chipping in. Those posts would be off limits for many, yet would get higher circulation and input from the givers if they were more front and center. The Den is 2 clicks away and outside of soccerkrzy® Pick 6 action it's mostly an afterthought.
Maybe TNets could limit how many per page to a number that keeps the loiterers engaged enough otherwise, and Donors could check a box when creating a topic to keep it on the down low if they wanted to keep it to Den feedback.

Donor's Den posts DO show on the main board now.
Non premium members will see a lock icon next to the post.
It would be great if some would post on the donor board to encourage more to upgrade. TIA!

which shows all the clemson sports boards. You can unselect any you don't want to see in the forum filter.
Maybe you mean default on the post new topic page? Since football is the most popular clemson sport board, it is the default.

Yes, I see lots of complaints about “wrong bored” but when someone posts a new topic, I think many do not select a board, merely defaulting to football. Just my two cents worth, make a selection mandatory.

Yep. The default (on mobile anyway) goes to bored(s).

You have to make an effort (which is two clicks I think) to select the bored you’d like to post on. Most just start posting. Sign o tha times.

Yes, this is what is often discussed as an unwanted default. Many people either don't notice or don't care, so they just end up dumping content on the football board.
Then, users who are trying to filter content to football end up seeing a mess of other stuff because contributors don't change their default when posting a non-football topic.

Most here support all things Clemson, but most are die hard Tiger Football fans.
Having a dedicated place like Tnet to talk football all year is great as football is a 4 season sport.
The others sports are a fun diversion.
