Everyone's #1 answer to the important questions are, it's really bad right now bc of Putin's WAR on Ukraine. Nobody wants to accept responsibility for ruining the worlds economy with price gouging that fills their pockets for now. But before it's all said and done, they will be praying to get thing back to the way they were before they all jumped on the Putin's WAR band wagon for doing less for a quick buck$$$ now!!!
History is about to repeat it's self of the Great Depression of the 30's and 40's because of Greed from those that have more than they could ever need in 10 life times!!! I sure hope to hear about them jumping off the tallest building when their Greed causes them to lose all they have, and they're put back in place when they didn't have their fortunes that has made them so greedy!!!!

My family farms. Also has turkey barns. There is little to no fertilizer to be found right now. Local farmers throughout the state are using turkey and chicken litter wherever they can find it as a substitute. Driving or hiring people to drive trucks out of state to get it.
Bird Flu is making things more aggravating, clean up, tracing where birds go, ensuring birds have no contact with possible exposure. Not bad in SC right now, though.
Round-Up/Weed killer/Herbicide is also becoming harder to acquire and if you can get it, very expensive.
People in America do not want to do farm work. Anything requiring manual labor, good luck with that.
My family is willing to pay well for people to drive trucks, tractors, go through the turkey barns, etc., but no one wants to sweat anymore.
Corn and wheat prices are only going to go higher.
My advice to everyone is to plant a garden, store up food, and stock freezers with meat, fish, venison(during deer season of course),go in with somebody and buy a cow to have butchered/processed. Food prices are not going down anytime soon.

Hangover from the ill-advised tariff war with China is a lot of regular grain fields were planted with cotton last year.
