You're boasting is nothing more an attempt to hide how horrified you are that a former walk-on player might hand D;ck Saban Bama's Crimson a$$ on a platter. The nightmare of Clemson and the ACC kicking the crap out of your birthright keeps you up at night....and the only way you can deal with it is to Troll over here and tell us that we need a "reality check". Um not necessarily. I am well aware if Bama craps the bed then we will lose. But I am also confident our best is better than your best. I still think you guys underestimate your defense. Clemson has played 3 defenses ranked in the top 20 of total defense. In those games, they gave up 17 TFL and 8 sacks. These are pretty good numbers but gave up 64 TFLs on the season and 16 sacks. 27% of the season's TFL and 50 of the season's sacks came from those 3 games. I like Bama's chances of putting pressure on Watson. I don't think you will have your normal offensive rhythm. I think our offense will wear on you and we will have success running late in the game.

Clemson bretheren here that the assumed superiority of Alabama is merely that, assumed, but you are right that of course both teams are very good. Alabama is Alabama. They have their normal size and speed, and if guys on the field get tired they have lots of others. And Henry won the Hiesman, nobody gave it to him. So yeah, if you want a Clemson fan to say Clemson can play a good ball game and lose, here you go.
But one could replace "Alabama" with "Clemson" above, and it all fits. Alabama could play a good ball game and lose. Clemson is that good. Future pros on both sides of the ball, both squads built pretty much the same way, from the bottom up. Unless something changes, both teams will be in the mix for a while.
