Deer Irrational Fan,

At Dabo's introductory press conference, he stated that Clemson Football was a destination job. No one has ever said that about the basketball program as other than complaining about it our fans are really not interested in supporting the program. Seems we have a bunch of fans who are as delusional as coot football fans. Guess you are one of those....

Did you know that while other programs had a full time basketball coach, Clemson normally offered the basketball gig to an assistant football coach to pad their salary?

Give Brownell a top 3 ACC basketball program resources and then you might have an argument. That might mean tripling the Basketball Budget and likely cutting about 2/5th the football budget.

If you said Brownell was given UNC/Duke/Louisville level resources and gave us NC State level success (aka none), ok, but he is getting a better return on the Ws (even this season) than our 13/14th place program allocations.

This season STUNK. It was bad. However, his kids did NOT quit. That says a lot about culture. They kept fighting when the team was in a bad stop.

Tommy? His kids quit several times in the season with adversity ... and sometimes quit without a punch on the mouth. Say what you will about wins or not, Brownell's teams have never quit.

I will agree! Rather impressed with the fight the guys showed coming down the stretch. Would have been easy to quit when some went out with injuries.
