Instead of wringing you’re hands about not scoring a TD from the 1 yard line, the easier (‘tougher’ question - and the one I’ve yet to hear) is why didn’t Dabo kick the field goal?
I mean, it’s not like he didn’t know Louisville was going to have it 1st and goal from the 2 yard line with less than 2 min to go in the game, and only be trailing by six points, when he/we could’ve been up by 9 and the game would be out of reach…..
….. you armchair QBs really need to step up you’re game(s)!

We have had a bunch of those 4th and 1 or 2 and seemingly haven't make any of them.
I'd have gone for the FG but if they've been working on it, then they need to keep working on it until they get them.
This year is about building for next year more than wins IMO.
Weird that they trust the offense in that respect given the lack of success when there are other times they obviously have no faith in the offense and are content to run up the middle for no gain and punt.

If you think the playcalling is not the problem then that's ok. You're entitled to your opinion like everyone else.
Several posters on here live simply to criticize anyone who has anything negative to say about an offense ranked dead last in the country.
Maybe it's not the play-calling, maybe it's not the crappy OL, maybe it's not a lack of QB/OL development, and it's just all bad luck or just a combination of everything. Hardly any of us are experts but nor do we need to be.
Some of you lack the comprehension, ability, or tolerance required to post/debate anything meaningful on a football message board and would prefer to anonymously TD or call someone a coot, tell them to root for another team, or even worst - personally attack a poster cowardly behind a screen.
It's because this gang of pumpers are also mean and lazy but feel self-entitled because you bought 500 Tiger Points every year for 20 years and feel like you're "defending the program".
Get over yourselves and your dream of an emperor has no clothes message board.

It’s an outlook on life in general. It is liberating when you know you don’t have all the answers. There is a comfort knowing others, while not perfect, are paid to do things we can’t do. Do they make mistakes, sure? But we are fooling ourselves if we think we can have meaningful conversations with people who open the dialogue with terms like “pumpers”, “ lack the comprehension, ability, or tolerance required”, “lazy”, “self entitled”, etc… If you want things to be different, be different. Lead, don’t be basic.

I have no problem going with it or the formation. However since Louisville had everyone and their grandma stuffing the middle I would have called a toss sweep with the up back leading the way. In my opinion he gave the play away with the formation. I did enjoy seeing the old school "I" formation though.
