Lordy. Isn't he as old as dirt?

Class of ‘71. Went through “rat season” and glad I did.

Never forget that Kevin Steele is considered to have one of the best defensive minds in the game. Hopefully even Kevin Steele and Cristobal will not be enough to totally bring back the glory to the U and we will continue to control the ACC.

Nice guy, good coach. Did a decent job at Clemson until that WVA Orange Bowl.
He will be an upgrade for Miami.
Dumb move for Auburn to get rid of their Head Coach, DC and OC last year.
Good luck at Miami…….

He's been up on his back more than an escort in Juarez. He keeps getting up and going for more. I'm sure the Miami D is looking forward to having such a player's coach.

I watched that WV game and Dabo firing him was wrong. Dabo shouldn't have given defense scholarships they couldn't tackle.

I fired him midway through the second half of the Orange Bowl against WV. Looks like he’s had a tough time holding a job since then.

Is the I meaning Dabo first half. That was actually when Dabo fired himself. But glad he didn't. But glad Dabo is okay taking blame for play wrong QBs for team. Bryant and DJ.

What were your thoughts on Steele while here?

Feb 10, 2022, 3:16 PM

Other than the WVU debacle I didn’t think he was too bad. Seems pretty highly thought of in the college football world. Were there issues between him and Dabo before the Orange Bowl?

Decent overall, but terrible at adjusting on the fly.

He wasn't the problem during WVU Orange Bowl the blowout win was cause of big plays. The big plays were caused by lack of tackling

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

For old times sake

Let's drop 70 on his defense in November

Returning to the scene of the crime, for his home games at least.

The first book you have to read is about relentless effort, physical and mental toughness, and tackling. If you do those three things on defense, you’re well on your way.”

He is counting physical and mental toughness as one things right? Otherwise that’s 4 things. Granted my degree is only from Clemson, not the university in Miami

I'll never forgive him for that Orange Bowl showing but I know he shouldn't shoulder ALL the blame that night either.

It's not like he's a bad coach considering his resume speaks for itself outside 2011. I'm just wondering if he can help turn around a Miami team that's been lost in the desert for years with inconsistent defenses. We desperately need any ACC blue blood team outside Clemson to finally pull their weight become relevant again.

Best of luck to him till he has to play Clemson later this November. Hopefully we can drop a nice 70-bomb on him then.

I am actually glad all the ex-Clemson Coaches have left Tiger Town. BV taking ex Clemson staff and OC Ole Miss shows he was trash should have stayed in Norman. Now AD leaving for Miami was actually pro Clemson cause he was terrible. Clemson has the best coach but they have never had classy AD since they hired the Furman one that killed Clemson Football. Last AD hired was anti Clemson and colored blind. He hired racist VB Coach that hated color Orange
