Dear FSU lurkers. G'Morning!

You are days away now from your first reality check of the season.
That daisy patch of a schedule y'all have been walking through will soon morph into a hard-scrabble, thorny trail of deafening noises, confusion, and melee. It’s going to be anything but pretty. Videos of this will probably be placed in the local horror shows going on at this time of year. You know – blood, guts, gnashing of teeth, springing bodies, horrifically timed uncaged animals. Your boys are going to feel like they went from a rose garden walk to a frightful ambulation in a house of horrors (Happy early Hallowe’en).
I assure you this brood of Tigers is well beyond putting on a few cheap scares. I fully expect maroon bodies lying in the grass, shoes left on the field, gasps for water and time-outs, and even some good ole’ healthy hurling – you know, when the body just has to purge itself of all fear.
After having their ACC title wrested away in Tallahassee and watching the ACC championship charade, these Tigers are looking for scalps.
BTW, I've been studying Mr. Winston for the first time, after hearing nothing but rave reviews on his five-game cupcake spree. I was, frankly, mortified – in empathy for any and all FSU fans who are placing hopes on this game. What’s with the rubber band, coffee-break length release? Am I the only one who’s noticed? How did all the talking heads miss this? Big and athletic and freakish – he is! But by the time he gets that belated and wobbly ball off, a certain VB,CC, and Associates are going to be on him like in those old Mutual of Omaha films where Marlin Perkins says, “It’s too late”(for the prey).
Does Mr. Winston even have a clue what he is getting in to? I think not, after watching him interview last night on a show.
My, oh my, the hubris of some of these young guns coming in to the Valley for their disciplining. I understand. All of us need our rites of passage, and I’m sure this experience will train him for the future.
Here’s hoping your team has put in a lot of time in training at the schools for the deaf in your area. Was just curious - will Mr. Winston be looking to do check-downs at the line, or other changes on the reads? He’ll have to save that for the other wine-and-cheese venues on ACC road. This is Death Valley, not “Wallace Wade” or “BC Hockey Crowd” stadium.
Well, guess I’m off to work but I’ll be back to provide you with more counsel later. You will need, I assure you.
Most respectfully, Your affectionate –
Uncle TigerTape

Come on, how much is Home field worth? 10 points?? Vegas gives them 5 points to Clemson, but 3 points to others.
STill FSU is a 3 point advantage, meaning that FSU is 8 points better on paper in a neutral field.
this crowd better be better than 5 points, i don't know what u have to do, but you better outsmart vegas bookies..

What this means, is that 12 man home crowd of Clemson is worth 6 points, because Clemson is 3 points lower on the grid..
118-115..= 3 point Georgia win expected,
however add 6 points for home field,
= 3 point Clemson win..
EvEN IF CLEMSON IS 6 POINT ADVANTAGE FOR HOME, THEN IT MEANS THAT FSU STILL WINS BY 2..
IN A THEORETICAL WORLD OF STATS.. OR NINTENDO

Saturday we'll faceoff in the real world.

I suggest you break out the ole Nintendo and enjoy a theoretical game or two before Saturday cause Clemson's offense, defense and coaches are real and unpredictable.

Enjoyed the post. Hope the game turns out as you say. Kid's a heck of a scrambler, though, which worries me a bit.
