He's got those enormous Travis thighs. It will be hard to keep him off the field, even with Shipley and Mafah.

He is class of 2024 so Shipley and likely Mafah will likely both be gone

They may. But, I doubt it. Shipley is a good back, but lacks the speed or size the NFL likes. Mafah hasn't gotten enough touches in his first two years to demonstrate he's ready and, if history is our guide, will be in the same position next year unless Shipley gets hurt. The odds of both going pro after year three is slim to none.

I think Ship is going to look good in the new offense and will have a great year which will lead to him declaring early. Mafah probably comes back as the feature back and to improve his stock for the following year's draft.

I really like his size, has great hands and runs hard. Competition can make it deceptive but I don't see the top-end speed or burst through the hole. Looks to me like he will be a 6'1" 230 lbs. power back. This would be a nice get for Spiller and great addition to our RB room.
