I'm guessing that success is the result of much testing and eventually getting the right plant. With Ford and the other farmers being at the mercy of Bulick and his product, they are putting a lot on the line that the seeds and plants are legit.I'm betting on the farmers.

Just throwing this out there. This case stinks. Plaintiffs were just producers, relying on their expertise and the expertise of Bulick and his bevy of holdings. If Ford were growing, processing and marketing that would be great. The knowledge and experience required is awesome. However, the farmers were, in a sense, the test pilots for the "experimental" project. The experimental aircraft crashed and the pilots are in therapy while Bulick is claiming pilot error and defending the worthiness of his experimental aircraft. Bulick should have lived and worked in Colorado for years and perfected his craft. Big business jerking around and destroying people may not fly well in court. Go farmers.

Like any relatively new industry, you can be on the leading edge, or the bleeding edge.

Growing the stuff is the easy part, from what I've read, they were promised the sun and stars and wound up getting mooned.

I work across from a hemp manufacturing facility that opened about 18 months ago, closed last month. If you don't know what you're doing, you'll be out of business in no time.
