Swinney: Bresee still 'day-to-day'

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said on his call-in show that defensive tackle Bryan Bresee (non-football medical issue) is still "day-to-day" when it comes to if he can come back for Saturday at BC.
"Still not sure if he'll be able to go this week."

More from Swinney: "(Tyler Davis) and Ruke (Orhorhoro) have done a great job for us and it was good to get Tre (Williams) back for a few plays last week. (DeMonte) Capehart and (Payton) Page and ET (Etinosa Reuben). All those guys are coming. We're going to get Bresee back. Still not sure if he'll be able to go this week. If not this week, next week. It's kinda day-to-day, we'll see with him. At some point, we're going to have all those guys together. It's certainly going to be nice. The season is still young, we're hoping to play a long time. That's our goal. We're going to need all those guys."

to have everyone healthy at the end of the season.
Lots of backups have gotten some great playing time and experience. Now, if we could start to get the starters back, and get them healthy and some more experience (especially the secondary) would be amazing and bode well for the the end of the season.

Yeah they are. Ruke has been an absolute beast and imo his cash register is filling up faster and faster.

Amen. I've always been a Ruke fan. I hate to see all the injuries (this year and last year), but I've enjoyed seeing Ruke shine! He has that "Christian Wilkins" vibe about him.

until I plinked this tiny black speck into the john. But, put that thing under a microscope, and easy to see why they hurt so much. That thing had more spines sticking out of it than the worse sand spur you could ever imagine. I am VERY thankful that is the only one I have ever had.

I'd rather hold Bresee and have him healthy for FSU and Cuse. Those games are crucial.
