It takes a lot of folks to run the football program, only I never realized just how many !!!!

An 8/24/20 letter to IPTAY members noted that people had asked about personnel and costs. The answer: $3.3 million – for 36 staff members tasked with day-to-day operations and implementation of the duties of the Organization – Salaries and Benefits. That is $91,666 avg. per employee.

Thanks for sharing. I had no idea some of those guys were on the staff. It takes a village. If you're Tony Elliot, you know what kind of support it takes to be successful at Clemson. He probably sees clearly that he isn't going to get that support at UVA.

Both UVA coordinators are making 650k per year. While its a lot of money you cant attract the best coordinators in the nation with those salaries. Could be where talks stalled.

Alabama's athletic budget is in the range of $70 Million per year, highest in the NCAA.
Clemson's is around $50 Million Which is about average for teams outside the top 10, and second in the ACC behind Florida State. We cannot spend more than national competition (Ohio State, Michigan, etc.)
We take in about $80 Million (old data) and Texas and Texas A&M take in about $150 Million and spend about $60 Million. Alabama spends almost as much as Clemson makes in Revenue. Even the Coots make and spend more money than Clemson. Our management and personnel have to be better for us to excel.
Oklahoma is top ten in revenue and budget, Clemson was historically in the 30's, now about 25th.
We spend our money on good people and facilities, and don't waste a lot of money paying for EX-Coaches!
Trust Dabo to work out our coaching situation, he will make the right moves.
