Dalvin Cook question

Anyone know if we rescinded our offer or backed off of Cook once he committed to us? I've heard he had issues in high school as well so just curious.

I think we just dodged a bullet with that one. He was committed and there was every intention to sign him, but he wanted to be a Criminole

Schools can't publicly mention a specific high schooler before he signs. After he signs with another team the release of information that his offer was withdrawn would be just plain chickenchit and something no one professing to be classy wouldn't do.

What does it matter? Folks are going to spin it however it makes their school look best and other schools look the worst.

I highly doubt we rescinded his offer, just due to talent level. However, we obviously lucked out with him going to FSU. Had he viciously beaten a girl while attending Clemson, he would have been immediately dismissed.
