Looked good in a spring game in 2017 that went on to not nail down the starting job in 3 yrs at 3-9 Northwestern make me lol.
Depth HJ will provide. YUGE trouble for us if he gets meaningful snaps.

Over last year. We return all our other starters on O. We should start the season healthy and with a running game. All this from a 10-3 team from last year. Hard not to be excited.

HJ was a good addition to ad for getting the best from DJ, CK, and HJ will also be be pushed by by DJ, and CK. I like it, we have two young guys being pushed by an older experience guy for the starting job at QB, that has to be a huge plus for that QB room with two other guys that would never start, but they are there pushing!!!

He is without a doubt quality depth and a mature locker room presence. HJ gets it and understands that he can start work on a 2nd Master's degree on someone else's dime all the while playing a solid role on the team. Works for everyone involved.

I think he is a quality QB. His numbers weren't great at NW, but name me a QB that would have won the Heisman at NW.
