Leaving a young man in like this and subjecting him to this onslaught of criticism borders on being inhumane. No matter the reasons (whether it be your ego, your wanting to help him, your dislike of all other QBs in the room, you really do have lifetime contracts, etc) I feel bad for the young man having to shoulder this when you could have thrown him a life line and told him it wasn't his day.

100 percent. He completely ruined DJs potential when trying to present him as something he isn't.
He actually may have had a shot in the NFL if he transferred last year and had someone utilize his skills. It makes me so mad that the staff doesn't feel the same way. It should have been mutual.
