Dabo is stuck now for the next 2 games

No way he can change now. He missed he chance, earlier in the season. Or, even during the game today when DJ got banged up. If he wanted to disguise his move, that was the chance. Now he is stuck. Since he rode him all the way down the toilet today, and even the media pundits see the error, changing now would be a flat out admission he was wrong and come at a higher cost to him than continuing to ride his narrative into the ground, regardless of misguided it seems. Just better hope Cade doesn't portal if that happens.

I bet Cade gets a lot of playing time in the next two games. Dabo doesn't have as much to lose now that a CFP berth is out of the question

I hope you are right. I afraid DJ will trot out as starter Saturday and everyone in the nation knows if you stack the box and force him to pass, you will win.

Unlike S.Carolina (which has good DBs), UNC's DBs are truly hot garbage.

Even Clemson's ho-hum WR Corp will get open when defended by UNC's DBs. (Admittedly, simply getting open and ... if DJU can hit them ... then our WRs are still likely to drop the ball again.)

Our problem in the run game next week will be the same as this week's problem:

Our OL took a big hit when Marcus Tate went down. His replacement (Michell Mayes) is a good 'utility' O-Lineman, but is not a 'star power' O-Guard like M.Tate.

We will struggle to run consistently with Marcus Tate being out.

(Then, we will struggle to pass ... except that UNC's defense is nothing close to S.Carolina's.)

There was no struggle to run tonight so I doubt it will be a struggle vs UNC

We ran very effectively against SC...the problem was we stopped doing what was working and tried to get cute. SC was in man ALL DAY daring DJ to throw it. A mediocre at least QB in Div 1 should be able to pick that apart.
