I have never understood or care to understand are the dudes that deadlift like it’s doing something for them. That #### is worthless. What dude wants a huge assssss?? Do some leg curls and back extensions and done.

Deadlifting is stupid.

Deadlifting with proper form is rewarding.

Great for the core and if you're not using bands there's nothing else that's better for grip strength. If you're trying to get strong and not lift for body building only it's about as good an exercise as it gets. Probably the hardest, too. I measure my intensity level in a given week by my willingness to actually complete a 5x5 deadlift set.

It's good for your legs, back and grip strength.

Why even try squats? It's the same movement as getting out of a chair. I do that every day.

Power cleans? Waste of time. Who needs those?

Leg curls and back extensions the same as deadlifts, LOLOLOLOL.

405x8 with straps
465x4 with straps
495x1 or 2, with straps.

Conventional with alternating over/under grip each set.
