Curious what others think on this...

I thought it was a really good crowd Saturday night in terms of the involvement and noise. That said, thinking of games in Death Valley in the last 10 years I didn't think the crowd noise was on the same level as Georgia 2013, Notre Dame 2015, or Louisville 2016. There may be some others in this time frame that I'd put above it, but those are ones that I can think of off the top of my head. Just wondering what others think about how it was. Still, a good crowd overall I thought.

Fauci cloth indeed. It sounds funny but I think you're on to something there.
I think there are yet to be made studies of social interactions related to Covid.
It's possible we are more guarded in our behavior and less certain about what's acceptable. Let's hope it's just temporary and the Valley will turn up the volume weekly mirroring the progress of our team.

Add Loserville 2014 to that list. I think the difference may have been that both Louisville games and ND were not decided until the final play. Saturday may have been as loud at times, but not for the whole game.

My ears were ringing. Thought it was just as loud as the games you mentioned. Maybe different for different parts of the stadium but DV was rocking in my opinion.

I never saw a noise meter on the video boards. I think sometimes the crowd needs that challenge.

Georgia and Notre Dame will always be bigger games than others because of who they are. The Louisville game was simply Lamar vs Deshaun. NC State was just old NC State.

Saturday night I realized that I can’t scream as loud as I could twenty years ago. Weird. But I tried. At the refs and the arrogant fat bald nc state fan in front of me.
