Curious to why New Springs Church..

How and when did this even get started? Every coot and their cousin truly believes new springs church is our front for bagmen. Im just curious to how this even got started? It's dumb to entertain the idea I know, but I'm just really wanting to know the story behind this with Coots. If anyone might know the answer Id really like to know bc that's literally all I hear about is new spring church blah blah blah. Go Tigers!!

Probably a combination of the fact Auburn laundered money through a church to get Cam Newton.
Then you add in Perry Noble comes off extremely sketchy and the fact he’s a big Clemson fan.

Well y'all do get that if that is reasoning then that pastor was removed almost 2 years ago so that huge clemson fan has nothing to do with new springs and when he was removed they would have found evidence to back this claim since he could no longer control what went on. Also so this church is front for college football powers in the southeast to give money to players bc if they paid Cam and are paying clemson players then it wouldn't just be us two schools others would def be part of that since it apparently works.???? GTFOH with that crap, carolina just mad they got money but still no one wants to go there.

Ok if everyone is paying kids, then why do the Coots bring it up in reference to why we are doing so good and uscjr isn't. They actually think they are squeaky clean? Wanna use that as a handicap but as you said the Coots are paying players too. Why do I hear so many fan of uscjr bringing it up like that's the reason they cannot compete.

Well what do you guys do with all that SEC money? Players aren't paying themselves. Whoever is in charge of paying down there is doing a terrible job and needs to be fired.

The presumption that " EVERY " school is paying kids is about as dumb as believing that a banner of some washed up boozer slung across your stadium indicated a culture change in your pitiful program .

I think a lot of the accusations would be based on the players you signed before your recent success not necessarily the past two years after you played in and won a national championship.

Clemson has always recruited well, certainly much better than the coots.
Anyone familiar with Clemson football knows we have always brought in the talent to be a consistent top 15 or top 10 team every year. Or shortfalls were hiring unmotivated coaches and administrators that made boneheaded decisions. Now that we have highly motivated coaches and an administration that's on the same page, we are getting better results.

You signed four 5-star kids after going 6-7. It was the epitome of kicking your coverage. I think that’s where a lot of this comes from. Add in the recruiting battles with Ole Miss who was extremely dirty and you’re going to have a lot of speculation from rival fans.
But like I said, everyone is cheating so it doesn’t really bother me.

I read that a pastor was involved in the recruitment of Cam to Auburn, but i heard nothing of a church being involved. I took it as the pastor being involved as the father on cam, not acting through a church. Have any links connecting the three - recruit, church, and father/pastor?
Clemson lost all those battles with ole miss. Do you really think with all the carp that ole miss is going thru with the NCAA that someone down there would have dragged Clemson into the investigation. Again, have any links for us naive Tiger fans?

So by that logic once you have an avg 6 win season you should never get any better or have any success recruiting. Dabo can recruit end of story, we kept the personal intact for the most part and that plays a big factor. It was a process and see saw all the way through. Its 100% sour grapes on the other side, because they hate the fact the coach they constantly made fun and cheered when he got an extension has turned the tables and stuck a National Title on top of it.

If the success of a program is based on illegal recruiting, then we must assume the Gamecock's women's basketball program is getting some of that New Spring money and their football program is as clean as a new whistle.

because Auburn got the death penalty from the NCAA for the money laundering conspiracy that got Cam hired as their QB... and that automatically means that Clemson did the same thing since the head coach is a vocal Christian. Right Coot?
Do you have any idea how pathetic you coots are for reasons that go beyond wins and losses, or lopsided dominance by your daddy in the upstate? Your fan base is the biggest joke in college football.

I'll tell you why it started. Because right now they've got nothing else to hang their hats on. That little blip on the radar with Spurrier and a handful of once-in-a-lifetime recruits is long gone. Combined with our coaching change, it allowed them to pull off the improbable 5-peat. And with the SEC East being a dumpster fire, they were able to post some nice 10 and 11 win seasons...
And that's all gone, like a fart in the wind.
Trust me... they see what's coming. They know Clemson and Georgia are light years ahead and will be beating them like a rented mule for the foreseeable future. They know Tenn and Fla are finally on the way back. They know Bama, Aub & LSU are rotating back on their schedule. And they know Jimbo is about to take A&M to the next level, and that's their permanent SEC West opponent.
They see the dark clouds gathering on the horizon. And it's about to get real ugly. They see 6 and 7 win seasons and battling KY for 4th place in the SEC East. So slinging mud and cooking up bizarre conspiracy theories is all they have left...

Then we made the very dubious decision to have him as team chaplain. After he stopped being chaplain, that was it as for as any connections. Thankfully Noble’s attempts to latch onto Clemson failed.

You start with a brash assistant coach who has a vision of what kind of players he wants to recruit. His head coach says not to bother trying to recruit CJ Spiller out from under the head coach's father at FSU, but the assistant doesn't listen. He knows what kind of person his recruit is and what is important to him. This same recruit, when given the opportunity to enter the NFL early, stays to complete his degree and help his team and now head coach. Dabo created a different culture and recruited players that valued it. Each player is unique and treated as such. Some leave early, most with degree in hand, and some stay for an extra year when they could have gone, to complete a degree or build up their draft stock. He doesn't get every player but the ones he does are committed to him and Clemson. Dabo has done it differently than any other program!
I know you won't believe that and it's fine with me, I hope others won't believe it also!
