This pitcher is pretty good changing speeds but Val seems like she's just not seeing the pitches 2 games in a row now. It happens and we haven't needed her bat.

Fantastic gutty win on a rough day. Actually surprised there wasn't more errors... Not that 3 isn't enough. We actually had 9 hits but they were scattered. Credit Illinois for not giving up freebies and played sound defense. Illinois is definitely up there to attack the plate.
That play by Keller was world class. That ball was tagged.
