Crushing COVID Biden style and by the numbers in SC

I realize this is COVID-related but putting it here as it relates to a MAJOR Biden campaign issue.
So DHEC just revamped their county-level reporting and it’s actually pretty amazing. Almost anything you’ve wanted to know about COVID in SC and then some.
Anyway, what do these numbers tell us? Trump’s vaccines actually worked pretty well up until Delta. Biden had nothing waiting in the wings even though everyone knew the virus would mutate to more transmissible variants. In the end, the rates per 100k of cases, hospitalizations and deaths were higher under Biden than Trump in the 18-34, 50-64 and 65-84 age brackets. The 65-84 group is about 80% vax’d.
I will give Biden credit for two things: 1) distributing in the first few months the Trump vaccines that were revealed right after the election and 2) getting everyone to quit talking about it for midterms. We’re roughly at 1k cases per day which is about where we were last Fall, yet we’ve gone to weekly reporting. Nothing to see here.

Trump had been on board from day 1 and showed the type of leadership this required. He turned it into a political issue when it was a medical issue we all needed to be behind. His supporters still today lead the way with anti-vax, anti-mask rhetoric. This tough guy and his tough supporters seem to think wearing a mask is even somewhat effeminate. It's just so laughable.
If Trump would have done this, he'd have been reelected and not open to Dem criticism on this that was the deciding factor of the election.

I thought Biden was supposed to change all that? Looks to me like the number of grandpas missing at the breakfast table is the same or worse under Biden. The one thing that has actually helped us is Omicron and BA2 being less lethal (as predicted). Can we just admit though that Biden has really done nothing except distribute the original Trump vaccines?
If you look at what Trump actually did, he 1) created the COVID Task Force 2) started Operation Warp Speed 3) ramped up PPE and ventilators and made hospital ships available 4) recognized we needed to keep the economy as open as possible 5) said to wear a mask if and when you felt It was appropriate
OTOH Biden incorrectly said you could take masks off back on 5/13/21 and now he is acting like COVID no longer exists, especially for illegals. In addition, studies have come out saying the lockdowns were ineffective and caused more harm than good. Also they’re saying N95 masks are the only ones that have even a shot at working. Many knew that already.

No, he's shown great leadership from the start, unlike Trump

. He has followed the medical community on this which is the only sane way to go and made tough decisions that weren't easy politically.
Trump on the other hand, went against the medical community at times for political purposes.
Once again, if Trump had shown Biden's leadership on COVID, he'd be President now.

I wouldn't have liked it any more, but we could have an honest debate about efficacy if they'd mandated N95s or K95s, but the spandex neck gaiters and tied bandanas they had people wearing were a useless joke.

education available. The information was out there though.
Let's have an honest debate. Trump made fun of Biden for wearing masks. "He had on a mask about as big as his head." So, this makes him afraid and not a real man.

In all fairness, Biden would have a mask on outdoors while at a podium 50 ft away from an audience of about 10 people seated in drawn circles.

So you really don’t have any actual examples of this leadership and how it led to results. Some people are moved by words I guess.

Of a child that age, most people just see it as the ridiculous virtue signaling behavior that it is.

Trump's leadership qualities are pretty well on record with me as severely lacking, so not sure what that has to do with Joe wandering around the lawn with a mask and then standing right beside someone without one.
