Crystal balls

Is it me or does it seem like there are less crystal balls cast for recruits these days? Peter Woods, a five star, commits tomorrow and only has 1 CB. I remember back when XT was about to commit and he had quite a few, some to us and some to USC. Maybe it’s selective memory on my part, but I really enjoy following recruiting and the CBs are fun.

I like the Crystal Ball system when they go our way, but I hate it when they go against us. A couple weeks ago I thought we had a great chance at Woods and now I see the CB for Alabama and I just assume we aren’t getting him. Oh well maybe I will be wrong. I am more concerned with running backs and wide receivers for now.

It just seems to me like some hack “journalist” making a guess.

Maybe people caught onto that, and the “crystal balls” aren’t getting as many clicks as they once did.

My feeling is that some guys like Woods just keep everything to themselves. They shut down communications with most everyone and when they do talk they don't give up anything. Hard to do.
