When are we gonna start saying Notre Daming

as a euphemism for choking ? These has beens from last century lose in one of the most pathetic ways I have ever seen in the Fiesta Bowl and I see this crap on my Facebook feed just now. "Notre Dame has the no. 7 recruiting class in the country. The future is bright!" Good for them ! Like Georgia let's see if they can make use of the talent they get .They haven't since Holtz .

I was thinking after I first made this post I should have qualified what I said .No doubt ND has won their fair share of regular season games but in games againt teams with a pulse in the regular season and the post season they have been putrid.I feel a bit bad for them but is Michigan even worse? They are another so called legacy program that still hasn't made it to the 21rst Century .

They've been a top 10 team for the better part of a decade. They are by no means elite, but they have definitely made it to the 21st Century. Granted have gotten their rears kicked in a BCS final and in a couple of semi-finals ... but they have beaten some teams with a pulse during the regular seasons.

And Michigan and Texas are in a different boat. There is this perception that once upon a time they were perennial contenders. Look back at Texas' historical records and lots of 6-4, 7-5, etc etc. I would still put ND a bit above those two.

Well, Jawjaing it up is still the preferred term. More history on that one and Jawja owns all those head-to-head record against teams that have won multiple more championships than they have imagined. .

I mean even the first aid posters in the peach state are branded for them

Or is that Ohio...
