Wait for the chaos of Biden's health/mental state to further decline and whether there would be any invoking of the 25th amendment. Then, while the US is distracted with the transitions of power, make the move.
I can't imagine there would be a big response when no one is yet in charge. Maybe an angry letter.

That's all they will get are words or sanctions anyway in the big picture. It's just whether the world unites with economic sanctions. The world has changed. There isn't much we can do. This isn't 1945.

Nor could we deter it under any president if they really wanted Taiwan. That ship has sailed. There is no chance we could stop them at this stage, nor would we go that far to go all out in an attempt.

With all due respect, that's the naïve comment of the month! Congrats. Given Biden's incoherence, confusion and dementia at this point (getting worse by the day), he knows that this IS the moment to strike!
Xi and Putin fully realize that DC is run by a bunch of Pu$$ies! They're not going to miss this golden opportunity, especially when a no bu!!chit Repub president will be elected in 2024.
Within 18 months, Ukraine, HK and Taiwan will be taken. Mark it down..

Biden couldn't a do a thing differently other than deciding to go to war. You think Trump knows a thing about the military. Bottom line it would be a losing war, either way if we went to Taiwan. It would be a disaster. There won't be WWIII for Taiwan.

There is nothing that can be done about Taiwan. Ukraine maybe, but Taiwan is a lost cause if China wants Taiwan. I wouldn't be surprised if both are gone. Why is that such a bold prediction?

No! We can't even build an aircraft carrier that works, i.e. the Gerald Ford. And even if we had it operational, China could take it out with one hypersonic missile. China takes Taiwan; 70% of the world's microchips come from Taiwan. GAME OVER!

They tried to do too much with the Ford. All the changes they were trying to make from previous carriers should've been done in stages over time with each succeeding new construction. We're still great at building carriers though. Nobody is better.
