Could Cade's Confidence Signal a Breakout Season?

I just listened to Cade's latest press conference; there's something different about him now. He comes across as more confident and articulate.

I've been following preseason hype since the early days of the internet, and I've learned to take these interviews with a grain of salt. But this time, Cade's interview feels different. He seems more mature as if he (and the offense) have really turned a corner.

Imagine how exciting it would be if this offense finally takes a step up after years of being ranked in the 20s and 30s. If I'm right, we could be in for an exciting season. Buckle up!

He has that "I'll show you what I'm going to do soon enough" aura. He's dialed in and ready to silence the critics.

Could also be that the last QB really never put off that type of energy in his interviews so it might be a skewed image.

I noticed the same thing. Not comparing him to another QB, but comparing him to him. Last year he looked awkward and nervous during interviews, often stumbling over his words. It was almost funny. This year he's relaxed, making jokes, but at the same time confident and excited. May not translate into anything but it does look different. The crazy part is we don't need 2020 joe burrow offense, we just need top 30 offense and we will have an amazing season.
