Could Auburn beat Alabama?

And if they did what do you think the playoff committee would do?
It's not unthinkable. Auburn destroyed Arkansas and Alabama played them a lot closer. I think Auburn has a much better team than they're getting credit for.

You have to attack Bamas weakness... their secondary.

Of course they could.

I don't know what the committee would do, but I know what they should do, and that is (A) give the nod to the conference champ and (B) make sure there are not two teams from the same conference in the playoff.

Probably not. Its a similar situation as A&M; their entire offense

revolves around being able to run the football and you just cant do that against Bama. If anyone can actually do that its LSU, but we saw how well that worked last year. Maybe without Cam Cameron and Les Miles LSU can come up with something a little more creative.

It's a rivalry game, so yea I think it's possible. They played them pretty close last year up till just a few minutes left in the game. It could happen.

If they played at Auburn, I would say they have a good shot.

But Bammer will win since they play in Tuscaloosa.
But I expect a close, hard fought game.
Bammer is playing an offensive style that is looking more and more like Auburn's. Auburn has tons of defensive talent and practices against this style of offense all of the time. You would think Gus would have them prepared to face everything Kiffin has in store for them. This rivalry game and Washington v. Wazzu will be must see TV.

Imo, AU is the only SEC team other than Bama that belongs...

in the top 15 right now. I do not buy into the hype that when one SEC team couldn't score on another SEC team it was because of SEC defenses AND when none of them can stop other SEC offenses it's because of SEC speed. Imo, it's all SpinEC.

What about a 1 loss A&M? They are still a decent team, plus they already beat Auburn, so they should definitely be top 15 and ahead of a two loss Auburn in the polls IMO.
