Coots Game Strategy

Oct 28, 2013, 2:04 PM

It's very simple. If we come out and play that on your heels, stationary defense we will lose. If, on the other hand, we come out playing a defense where there are line stunts , LB STUNTS, DB's playing tight and aggressive with some blitzes thrown in, we will take them out of their game and win handily. Anything short of an aggressive, attacking defense will result in a loss!

We just need to find some confidence, rhythm, momentum before then. I want to see us dominate GTech during the thursday night then I will feel better about Nov30.

but the Tajh will have to have his head in the game & be loose, otherwise the butterflies will fly off with him!

they'll take advantage of an off-offense if we don't punch the chickenshiat out of them quickly & continuously...

Thank you for putting what I was trying to say in the right language! We need to come out smoking on defense and let the chickens know we WILL NOT TAKE ANY OF THEIR S...T!! The new sheriff has arrived and he is one pi...ed off dude!

Defense is get to Shaw and cover Ellington. Force that uncomfortable situation and they crumble. Sure you'll give up a pass here and there to Byrd but meh...cover 23

You fail to mention how our soft O line will deal with the pressure they will bring, or how Tajh will crack under said pressure (again) not to mention the crowd noise and the fact that we have 1 WR that is actually performing at this point in the season. Fact is, their O is better this year, and our D is about the same as last year. Our O is not as good as last year and their D isn't either but our O line will give Clowney a years worth of stats in that one game.

We're gonna give up the big play regardless

Oct 28, 2013, 4:17 PM

Might as well take some aggressive risks while we're at it

That will be the game where our high priced coordinators have to earn there $$$. We come out with the same weak sauce that we've shown the last 3 weeks and it will be an embarrassing 5 in a row.
