What did they think , that kids were going to stay in dorms and stick around town when given a 5 day weekend ?

I thought coots were all about safety and doing what’s right?

This seems quite dangerous for their out-of-state students. And where’s that scar empathy and compassion for students living on the coast?

You originally said Tuesday. Stick with it. The state will survive the fall semester going one week longer.

I am looking forward to his article highlighting the SC admin's lack of concern for student safety

If the students aren’t in town, they’re not spending their parent’s money and that’s the only thing SCAR has concerns about.

Spokesman says when the county or state closes down they don't have any choice but closing down also. He didn't explain why scar had to open back up when the gov't back up. There are many days, even weeks, when the govt is running and the school is closed. Where is the coot logic? In plain sight I'd say.
