Random thought, but

if MD leaves would it be possible to bring in a team like Navy? It's in maryland and would bring back that market. Plus they have a decent football program.

thinking outside the box

Isn't that a triple option team? Please, no, although I

think it would pretty awesome to catch a Clemson-Navy game in Annapolis.

IF MD leaves, first target is full committment from ND...

My reasoning... MD will be in our league at least

1-2 years after any potential announcement. By that time, we will be in a playoff system. That's when the ACC puts the full court press on ND. They are going to join, soon or later.

My list looks like this

1. ND as 14th
2. Penn State (not happening)
3. West Virginia (if the Big 12 lets them go)
4. Louisville
5. Stay at 13
6. UConn

I like Navy, but 1 option team is enough to deal with every year. I say the ACC doesn't add anyone else, and make ND a floater between divisions until they are forced to become a full time member.
