Some people recognize Clemson as a very special place. Some are Alumni, some teachers, some students, some athletes, and some coaches. Some have nothing to do with Clemson, like opposing coaches, players, commentators (Meyer, Musburger, Gruden…) and just plain visitors. We always hate to leave Clemson.
Venables is smart, along with other coaches, you can be successful at Clemson in a great environment, or roll the dice and go elsewhere just for money.
They vote with their feet……. “Dabo Knows”. Nowhere like Clemson! “Something in those hills”.

We certainly make it comfortable for BV to be at Clemson in his role as a DC, but it ain't just the $$ that keeps him here. He could have already moved on to a HC job that would easily pay him at least DOUBLE that amount. There must be something at Clemson that keeps BV coming back to be a DC... and there must be a reason why we have so much less turnover on our coaching staff than a lot of other top programs.
