I never post here, obviously. But I am a fan of Clemson athletics. I have had the opportunity to teach and coach a couple student athletes that have left high school and became tiger student athletes. Clemson is a special place.
As far as this team and this season, congratulations! 40+ wins is extremely hard to come by. I think Coach Lee and his entire staff have done a tremendous job. Certainly Coach See has put his nose to the ground and shaped the staff into one that many felt had serious question marks going into the season. I know Coach See, and he's one of the best.
I think often overlooked, Coach Starbuck, has done an impressive job with the offense. You rarely here his name mentioned, but make no mistake, he is not your typical "volunteer". The man knows the game and spent 17 years at Elon University, 11 of them as ACH and RC. Coach Lee made a great "hire"(he's not a paid guy obviously) when he convinced Starbuck to be a part of the journey. I, mean, Im not aware of any other volunteers who coach 3B. HAHA. He knows what it takes, and understands how to navigate the ups and downs of a long season. plus, like See, one of the best guys I know. Looking forward to Durham, and beyond. Good luck. Keep grinding.

You seem to have a good bit of KNOWLEDGE about baseball . Did you ever play yourself , or just coach on the DIAMOND ?

Im just a high school teacher and coach. I was fortunate enough to have "played" at Elon, meaning, I played, but was never a stud. lol. Played for Starbuck my senior year there, his first season at Elon. At any rate, been around the game, like many, most of my life. Met coach See back then, and have stayed in contact With Buck ever since. Lucky to have him as a friend.
