If you listen to the Fred Davis II commitment video, he says some interesting things

When asked who are his top-5 players he is going to recruit to Clemson?
He said that he has two in mind, but he wasn't going to put them out there like that. But, that they were probably listening, and they know who they are.
Clemson is different, and the coaches show genuine love.
Coach V told him that he wasn't going anywhere, and he kind of implied he didn't see any of the coaches leaving.
During one of the breaks off-air, one of the host thought DJU had already committed. FDII said, "I don't know nothin'." It was in that, 'I know somethin', but I can't say' type of way. The other host corrects the first host and says that he doesn't think DJ is committed but that everyone assumes he is going there. FDII just kept repeating, "I don't know nothin'. I don't know nothin'."
Other than the double negatives, his reaction looks good for Clemson landing DJU. I took it as FDII knows DJU is coming but just can't say.

DJU in a tweet to FD2 called him " fam "while congratulating him on picking the Tigers .
I know that's a well used term and has many connotations , but sounded to me like DJ and Fred already have a "familial" bond of some sort .

I'm not sure DJ needs anymore commits recruiting him. He is a lock already. I'd bet Fred is after Bowman due to the Florida connection. And maybe TE Lamonica?

The hosts asked him for a "top 5 guys you are recruiting" and he said that "there's really only 2," but he didn't want to out them. "They know who they are and are probably watching."
Given his Florida connection, Bowman is nearly a lock to be one. If you look at the guys we are after in Florida, the other one could be:
Gervon Dexter - high 4* DT, committed to Florida
Xavier Henderson - 4* WR
Jalen Harrell - low 4* DB
My personal guess is Xavier Henderson. DBs and WRs know each other well.
