He's 38. He's experienced and knows our program well. I'm happy with him being the AD. Even though I think AD's are paid too much, but that's a different story.

Absolutely a great choice in my opinion!!! I think that most of us seen the writing on the wall when D RAD announced/agreed to take the job at Miami. I believe that Clemson athletics will be better off with Neff as the athletic director than with someone new coming in from the outside, and not knowing near as much about Clemson as Neff, or someone that hasn't already grown to love it at Clemson as much as Neff since he's been at Clemson near a decade. IMO, great choice, great hire!!!!

Congrats !!!! So glad RAD gone. Graham next season buy volleyball team orange purple and pink VB shorts. RAD's hired color blind Coach though gone now. She turns Clemson black shorts. Told her if she likes black coach USA or UGA

And now for my obligatory wish-list for a new AD:
1) Improve Clemson Basketball - both men's and women's. That means more towards facilities for sure, but also looking at the coaching situations in both and evaluating if we can do better.
2) Continue investment in Clemson Soccer - it is paying dividends
3) Continue investment in Clemson Football - it is paying dividends
4) Build an Olympic Pool on Campus and bring back Swimming and Diving
5) As the University grows, find a way to bring back Wrestling and field both Women's AND Men's teams in Lacrosse and Field Hockey. I get Women's will come first because of Title IX, but we eventually need at least a Men's Lacrosse team if not Field Hockey as well. If we need a Women's Water Polo team to balance things out, then let's do that as well.
6) Upgrade the Baseball Facilities and make them some of the best baseball facilities in the nation. We can't let schools like Dallas Baptist have baseball facilities that compare to ours.
7) Continue the investment in the Tennis programs to restore them to National level.
8) Build a new Volleyball gym. It can double as a Women's Basketball arena if needed. Use the space in Jervey that is vacated to improve Baseball and Softball facilities.
9) Expand the Softball Stadium - this is already needed and if our program continues to excel will become a huge need.
10) Rowing... needs some attention. Not sure why we can't become one of the top programs in the nation with our location for Rowing, but it has almost been forgotten about. Figure out a way to make it a bigger attraction for fans.
