I had one a while back. Had a bunch of problems and sank a ton of money in the brake system on it

On our third Grand Cherokee (actually my wife's). Wouldn't be a repeat buyer if not happy with the ones we've had.

On the first drive of the day after about 10-15 minutes it will just stall for no apparent reason and a few minutes after start and will drive fine all day like nothing ever happened. Any help would be greatly appreciated on where to look for this problem.

the grand cherokee has a engine control module and a body control module and either can cause the problem you are talking about. it sounds like one of these modules could be causing your problem. i had a similar problem with my old 1998 cherokee. if a computer is causing the problem it is further complicated if you have one of their built in alarm systems.

i would recommend you get the car to a good mechanic who can diagnose the problem - this could be too expensive to just throw parts at it - which is all i can do.

also, if its a control module there are some options you can consider other than going to the dealer.

Ive already thrown a good bit of money at it. I'll probably end up taking to a jeep pro but the only thing is the problem is intermittent. I'm usually pretty good with cars but this one has got me beat.

If you have a 2011 or newer the. You need to get the TIPM replaced. (Total Integrated Power Module). They recalled then and refunded me the $400 I had already spent replacing mine. It is basically the computer system in the newer Jeeps' brain and if not replaced with the recall will cause all kinds of problems.
