baseball team and let Lee's staff take a crack at his throwing motion. Dan Pepicelli is supposed to be one of the best in the business and could work with Streeter here on refining his technique. I think if there were more of a cross-pollination of ideas across all sports, it would really set Clemson apart from other programs and help with our immediate need of giving DJ confidence in his arm again.

This may be the best idea I've ever seen tbalm post. It's actually genius and is one of the latest strategies for quarterbacks.
Some of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game were drafted to play major-league baseball. Dan Marino was drafted in the fourth round by the Royals, the White Sox drafted Archie Manning in the third round and John Elway was a second-round draft pick by the Yankees. The Colorado Rockies drafted Michael Vick despite him not having played since the eighth grade.
Several current NFL quarterbacks were exceptional baseball players. Kyler Murray was the No. 9 overall selection in the 2018 MLB Draft. Russell Wilson attended multiple MLB spring training camps during NFL offseasons with both the Texas Rangers and New York Yankees. Patrick Mahomes was a stellar high-school baseball player and was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 2014 MLB Draft out of high school.
It's clearly a trend that's worth looking into. So, we decided to ask current high-school quarterbacks that also play baseball at a high level how they feel about playing multiple sports and how it impacts them on the football field. Watching game tape for the players, it can be seen how quickly they can flip their hips to put their feet in the correct position to make a strong and accurate throw. They also make throwing on the run look easy....
Thanks tbalm. Already sent the suggestion to Dabo and Monte. If you don't think it's real, go watch tape from Will Taylor and Ty Olenchuk. Their footwork and motion is actually very impressive.

Yea, and then maybe when the football team is on offense he can throw a baseball to the receivers because they sure don't know how to catch a ( drum roll please) FREAKING FOOTBALL! And while we are at it maybe Monte can ask Brad how to block out so our catchers won't let a runner advancing from 3rd to score or having our soccer coach show Brent how to play better D around the goal line.

Have you ever caught a ball from a guy that throws as hard as DJ does, I think part of the problem is how hard he throws or has thrown in the past. Dj can break your fingers from 40-50 yards away. It’s hard to catch a laser unless it’s coming in stride with you. DJ needs to work on his touch & lead the WR’s so they can run to the spot.

Wow ... what an idea (use a baseball coach to teach the throwing-the-slider technique to a QB).
However, this is too much for us mortal Earthlings. Take it to NASA and maybe it can save us from the Martians.

Might be the most ridiculous idea I've ever heard. What's next, receivers who are on the track team?

With his athleticism he would he a great from half court in basketball ??, maybe Brad could use a point guard that could knock the other team down passing from under the basket full court..
He could take out the other teams starters early with laser passing.

I am sure he is working hard to improve and feels more frustrated than anyone on this board. We don't need to fuel the fire and have players giving up. I am fine with coaching criticism - they are highly paid professionals who are not getting their job done. Either recruiting, development or coaching or maybe all three.
