They have two agendas. They may work together to achieve their goals, but their agendas are different.

1. Commissioner - Do whatever you can to protect and strengthen the conference.
2. President - Do whatever you have to do to protect and strengthen your school.

OK ST and TT both made statements last night. Both statements made it clear:
1. We're ticked off at TX and OU.
2. However this shakes out, we're gonna do what's best for our university, not just what is best for the conference.

I have no doubt that every university president of an NCAA football school in FBS is already contacting people (other presidents in his conference, presidents in other conferences, etc.) trying to guage the landscape and formulate a plan.

If they aren't, their school is gonna be a loser in the realignment of conferences. If they are saying, "I'll trust our commissioner to protect our university and it will all work out" then they are either naïve or incompetent or both.
