is why he didnt run the ball as much is pure stupidity..i dont care what the structure is..if running the ball was working which it clearly was you keep doing it...thats not just this year though he has a very bad habit of getting pass happy..reminds me of morris out there calling plays sometimes

the field on 3rd and 10. He’s the most overpaid football coach in America. Time for fresh blood from outside the program. No more past players. Everyone but Spiller has to go. Period.

Our coaching staff is really sounding like a bunch of politicians these days with their narratives.

Re: elliots comment (easy comment): Truth - Not T.E.s fault

Come on with the T.Elliott nonsense.
Shipley's drop of TD pass ... sure, this was a terrible play call by T.E.
Beau Collins drops / alligator arms ... as usual. I heard that B.Collins is having trouble with his NIL Pizza restaurant deal; he keeps dropping the slice of pizza during the ad shots. But of course, B.Collins drops are because T.E. called bad plays.
Ajou Ajou, sadly, somewhat predictable with his drops. But when he was open, DJ occasionally hit him (and AA drops it). Of course, AA's drops are all T.E.s play calling fault.
DJ's shovel pass pick-6. Nothing wrong with the play call; the Pitt defender was in position to break it up. Unfortunately, DJ has proven that he still lacks situational awareness. Given DJ's limitation as far as being 'lateral-movement-impaired' he knows by now to take the sack. But DJ's profoundly terrible play simply cannot be attributed to T.E.s play callling.
With Clemson dropping pass after pass (along with the passes that DJ threw poorly), Pitt realized that Clemson's best chance was to run the ball, and set their D to stop the run. T.E. runs into that stacked D and they don't get squat. That's why T.E. kept calling pass plays ... they were open often enough if our WRs unit did not revert to their awful performance. T.E.s play calls were not the problem.

That was TE's political way of saying, DJ is making bad passes, WRs and RBs are dropping the ball and no one wants to step up and "be the man" so Pitt stacked the box to take away the run and said Clemson try to beat us with the pass if you can.

So have you asked yourself why our supposedly very talented offense (WRU, right?) can't catch the football?
Have you asked why they looked lost?
Why is this team in such a "funk"?
I brought up the fact that Etienne went something like 6 games without getting 100 yards, and someone here on TNet brought up the fact that it's because the game were out of reach at that point. It's total BS.
We don't run the football so it makes it incredibly difficult to throw the football when you're QB is already struggling.
Isn't that the coaches' fault?
Maybe it's not JUST Elliott. Maybe it's because Dabo has so many people coaching under him who don't know what they're doing...because they're "family".

We have consistently had success running on first down only to do something stupid on second to go from second and three to second and eight. Why not keep doing what's working until they stop it? Isn't that called "taking what the defense gives you"?

Elliott need to get his engineering degree and worry about building structures. This offense is high school level at best. Pitiful
