NIL Baseball

So much I dont understand about the workings of this NIL stuff. I would dare say the vast majority of college fans could give a rat's a-- about their baseball team. However, for those of us that do, could NIL create a potential recruiting advantage over endowments and even the pros? If a mediocre to above average high school prospect is weighing college against pro, comparing minor league $ to a potential NIL deal could be a major factor.

Also - the guy on CU Insider stated on his site last evening in his game coverage - "Help is on the way." Anybody catch that and is this more BS from that site or anyone care to speculate on whom or what he may be referencing? Is Dusty Baker deal in the works?

College Baseball is NOT marketable enough........

the select few "Bryce Harper" type of players are getting multi million$$$ signing bonuses out of High School. Those select few that are elite enough and choose to not go pro out of high school may have a shot at an NIL deal or two, but no BIG DONOR is going to pony up millions of NIL dollars for a college baseball player like they do and will continue to do for college football.

College football NIL deals aren't even about marketability, it's just a very expensive hobby/entertainment for a TON of Rabid RICH fans that are willing to pay to see the best players play football for their team....................with rare exceptions, that would NEVER happen in college baseball.
