we are now paying companies to accept our recyclables since china stopped buying plastic from the US (my county pays $95/ton)
seems like the technology is there to burn it and scrub the smoke, i could be rong

I see 5 cooling towers (no, those are not reactors), 3 maybe 4 stacks, and a single wind turbine? Has to be shopped, has to be.

at the site...probably a few more wind turbines out of frame.
# of cooling towers doesn't have to equal # of coal powered turbines
and
# of stacks doesn't have to equal # of coal powered turbines

generation companies throw solar and wind generation at existing generation sites (if location is suitable) since they already have the transmission lines there. A lot cheaper than locating separate sites.

In Germany, the Green party people are true sadists. Leather and chains aren't enough, they have to take away hot water too.
