Fascinating... coaches have always been keyed into this "rugby" concept, but usually only in last minute/last possession/last play situations. I mean, there's nothing new here concept-wise, except the notion of using it on a regular basis. At the same time, it's interesting to note that many coaches are "going for it" on fourth down these days than ever before, regardless of score or game time remaining, desperation, etc. However, I also regret that media and fan obsession demands that scores get higher and higher, in all sports. Gone are the days when a CFB team (let alone NFL) might win a game 7-3, or even 10-6 and get any respect, or the fans say it was a "good game". It's the nature of evolution, I guess. Things change.

Here's to our defense and a 10-6 victory! (BTW - Defense and Field Goals win football games, regardless of final score.)

The no punt thing is enticing. If we could have a defense like oue 2014 defense EVERY year I would be ok with trying it .
Of course , i am not a coach nor do I have my life invested in wether or not my football team performs well . So yeah ....2013 defense every seaso - and punters scholly goes to another OL.
