It's not like Petino, Coach Cal, or Coach K will be knocking at the door if BB leaves. How about we just be happy with what we got. Not like we will ever get HOF coach or a roster full of McD's All-Americans. BB CAN build this program. It will take several more years. Patience is a virtue!

takes to take us where we've said for the last umpteen years we want to be in basketball. The one time in recent memory we did go after a well-known coach (Ric Barnes) he did make major improvements as hoped for but then he left for Texas while the getting was good.

Tiger77, you must be a real pleasure to be around because you seem to know everything about coaching and recruiting. If you can take time out from your complaining, take a look at Coach K's record when he started at Duke. Next, take a look at Brownell's past coaching successes. Next, analyze the Duke game tonight against BC, should they fire Coach K for not winning by more than one point against BC. Geez, we are talking about BC!!! I am sure you have the answers, like most alleged fans!

Rick Barnes was not very well known. He came from Providence and 90% of Clemson fans had never heard of him. Brad is exactly what Clemson needs, someone who can build a program and succeed, at least in the short term, with less talented players than our competition. Slowly, he will be able to attract the better players. Give him a chance.

point and he knows how to develop players with average talent. Eventually with results he can get some better recruits in.
