Co-worker on our punter.....

Guy at work (not really a college football fan) asked me what was wrong with our punter. I just laughed and said he was terrible. He said, "no I mean what is wrong with the starter?" I had to convince him that Spiers was the starter. He said "wow, he literally kicked it with his shinbone" lol....

ND punter 14th, CU 86th... hope we don't need him.

WE TOO DEEP!.... except at punter.

Saturday:

1. The play where the long snapper bounced it to Spiers in our own endzone could've ended a lot worse, he did a good job of picking it up quickly and getting a punt off.

2. He had one kick that was a perfect spiral, like a real thing of beauty and it sailed pretty far*




*I'm choosing to ignore the fact that it basically needed to be a short punt that he booted into the endzone for a touchback

Yea, when we needed the short one, he gave us kick of the year... he really did do a good job of corralling that bad snap in the end zone, though.

how he dealt with the bad snaps in the rain is impressive work for anyone. I'll give him a pass for the other bad #### of the night considering how he handled that.


Our coaches need to keep in simple with punting. No rugby or delayed kicks, just boot the thing ASAP.
