You were not wrong about the overspending on RBs with early round draft picks. Specifically regarding the NFL, a RB's productivity doesn't move the needle on a team's overall record at seasons end. Additionally, the requizet skill set can be found in abundance and at times even in UFAs & SFAs-—

He has been a bust since the beginning of his final season at USUC. In all honesty, he was a monster when he actually cared and tried. Once he "made it," he was just cashing checks.

He made his name and reputation on one busted play where the offensive lineman went the wrong way and he went unblocked to a back 75 lbs lighter than him. He made no noise in that game prior or after.

getting the least out of having the most. He was an athletic freak coming out of high school. He had everything physical if not mental - size, speed, and strength. But of course what he lacked was a work ethic and an attitude of wanting to be the best.
He's right up there with Marcus Dupree of Oklahoma in the 80s and some others like maybe Roscoe Crosby of Clemson who, for whatever reason, didn't reach their full potential.

Do you know the whole story? Roscoe loaned his car, nothing fancy, to some high school friends to drive to Florida for winter instructional baseball he was playing. On the way they had a fiery crash and at least two died. He was never the same after that. Very sad.

Dude has had a pretty long career and often but not always productive. Nevertheless, been gainfullynemoloued a long time.
